What is a Challenge Coin?

A challenge coin is a small coin or medallion that symbolizes membership, belonging, and camaraderie in an organization. Challenge coins are often adorned with an organization’s emblem or insignia and are carried by members of that organization.

Challenge coins can have many meanings, including:

  • Recognition: Challenge coins are presented to recognize special achievements, dedication, or exemplary service.
  • Morale: Challenge coins are used to improve morale and foster unit esprit.
  • Group identity: Challenge coins represent the unique identity of a group and carry the group’s history and traditions.

Kitty is always going above and beyond for our clients and personnel. She is eager to learn about every facet of our work. For the last several months she has taken the lead in getting our office (and our office complex) restored after the devastation of the hurricanes. She is here after hours and on weekends working with the construction crew, cleaning up after the many leaks, working the fans, dehumidifiers and heaters and making our lives more pleasant. She was here at the office shortly after the hurricane and moved EVERYTHING out of my office to help minimize water damage, and she does it all with a smile.
